GNGU Office update

After a disruptive period following the passing of Mellette Hendrikse, we also lost the services of Magdel Krajnc in December.  It pleases me to inform you that the GNGU has made two new appointments in our office.

Rohan de Beer will take over most of the functions previously done by Mellette. Rohan can be contacted at the following e-mail address: growgolf@gngu.co.za or at 0126671087.

Taryn Broeders joins us in the post vacated by Magdel, e-mail admin@gngu.co.za and at the same telephone number. She will look after the admin and financial side of the union.

Our office hours will be from 8:00 – 16:00.

We wish them both well and I am sure that they will add a lot of expertise to GNGU.

The e-mail address golfops@gngu.co.za will be dormant until further notice.

My gratitude and appreciation need to go to members of the executive for their assistance over this period, in particular our treasurer, Gerhard Lombard, who looked after the finances in a very capable way.

I also want to thank everybody- members, clubs and other unions for all the e-mails and other forms of support we received through these trying times.

Regards.

Johan Struwig.

President: GNGU.

NELSPRUIT, 15 December 2016 – Central Gauteng might have a small party tonight after they sewed up the A-Section title, but the team will be saving the big celebration until the 2016 South African U19 Inter-Provincial at White River Country Club officially wraps up on Friday. For Mpumalanga and Boland, though, there are no such comforts. Continue reading
