The GNGU Junior Girls open is now a 54 hole WAGR ranking event and this year was played at Akasia over 8 & 9 February. The Womens Mid Am and Seniors played 36 holes on Sunday 9 February.

A huge thank you to Akasia GC for hosting us and giving up the course for our golfers.

Northerns Nomads support us year after year with the junior girls and we would like to thank them for their contribution to junior golf. It is with great excitement and pride that for the first time since 2013 we have a Gauteng North winner of the Junior Open trophy. Congratulations to Phenyo Sebata for winning the event on +2, 6 shots ahead of nearest competitor.

Congratulations to Lindsay Owen from CCJ who defended her Gauteng North Mid Amateur title on +9, 3 shots ahead of nearest competitor.
