Moodley proves BMT to win GNGU Womens Open

Pretoria Country Club was in immaculate condition, however proved a true test for the players competing in the 2022 GNGU Womens Open Championship.

With 3 players tied in the lead on +7 going into the final round, it was obvious that some fantastic golf was needed to take the tournament.  Kaiyuree Moodley proved her class and managed a final round 76 to win the Championship division by 4 shots ahead of nearest competitors.

In the B Division home course advantage proved its benefit, with PCC’s Maritha de Beer winning by a staggering 15 shots ahead of nearest rivals.  And in C Division, it was a close fight and Susan Oosthuizen won on a count out to take the trophy.

Thank you to Pretoria Country Clubs management, staff, members and Committee for their hospitality and giving up the course in order for us to host this event.  Thank you to all players and spectators for supporting our tournament.
