Round 1 saw Tyron Taylor and Kyle de Beer shoot 65, 7 under par, in the morning field to take the lead in round 1.  Christiaan Maas joined them in the afternoon field by also shooting 65 later in the day.

In Round 2 Christiaan Maas just kept on going where he left off and carded a 64, 8 under par to move his score up to 15 under par.  Other notable rounds came from Matthew Dennis who also carded a 64, 8 under par and Yurav Premlall who carded a 65, 7 under par. There was a 45 minute weather delay to cool things off due to lightning, but this didn’t stop the players from finishing on the day.

Sunday afternoon play was interrupted by a thunder storm but Maas cemented his 12 shot victory with two brilliant 66’s over fellow Pretoria Country Club member Dawid Opperman.
