Johan, Marco and Andrew

The Foursomes tournament was hosted by Pretoria Golf Club. The winners of the event on two under par over 36 holes were Andrew van der Knaap (IPT Captain) and Marco Loubser. The IPT manager Gerry Few invited the entire IPT team to participate and took the opportunity to test his Foursomes pairings ahead of this year’s IPT held at Glendower Golf Club.

The event saw some of the GNGU executive members in the field in the shape of Johan Struwig, Paul Davel, Gerry Few and Gerhard Lombard.

Although the players performed exceptionally, the main winner for the event was Pretoria Golf Club. After the tragedy of their greens the club rallied and produced a top class course. The greens were perhaps a tad slow, but true, even paced and brand new.

Congratulations to our winners, participants and Pretoria Golf Club.
